As a female founder who has built, sold and scaled a business in a male-dominated field, I understand the importance of diverse voices in tech and know first-hand the challenges that so many people regularly face.
That’s why, through my keynote speaker, coaching and consulting, I always share my story honestly, never shying away from the difficult lessons I’ve learned.
From returning to work after having my two children, Ethan and Emmie, and the impact this had on my confidence and self-worth to my journey of building and selling a tech business and the importance of giving everyone a platform to inspire others, I know by sharing my truth and connecting with people with similar experience, I offer hope for the future and actionable ideas to help them move forward.
I want to reframe the narrative for the industry and allow everyone to express themselves authentically.
With over 20 years of experience in People and Talent, I’ve helped scale high-growth tech companies in the UK and globally, especially in the SaaS sector.
As the CEO and Co-Founder of Tech Returners– which I led to a successful acquisition in February 2023 — I demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep passion for empowering women in tech. Through founding initiatives like the Confidence Community, where I’ve enabled over 140 women to develop into leadership roles, launching ReframeWIT, the largest non-profit Women in Tech conference in the North, where we welcomed over 750 people and were one of the first events to offer free child care for all, and co-founding WIT North, one of the largest WIT community groups in the UK, my impact resonates across the industry.
